Hover-bored (dead ringer) offers an imagined conversation with a real-life Marty McFly impersonator. Spiralling through speculative future fashions, time capsules on TV, Blue Peter in 1971 and Y2K. Zombie websites, link rot and the tomb of Saint Walpurga. The work observes the parallel space of doppelgängers and fakes. What imitations reveal about their counterparts; questioning if a counterfeit holds its own authenticity or remains just a reflection—an echo.
